The Ministry of Transport is responsible for implementing the national mobility policies in compliance with the government’s objectives and to assure their alignment with local politics, making the different needs of transportation compatible with the common goals of the mobility policy.

In order to enhance the quality of life of the population of Luxembourg and obtain comfort and safety for all users, the government first of all intends to:

• Fight hard against the scourge of road accidents and concretely implement measurements to support road safety;
• Guarantee the development of infrastructures and reorganize public/individual transport.
